Founded in 2023, St Andrew's Fish Farm LLC is a Veteran-Owned Small- Business, located in St. Mary's, KS, "The Prettiest Little Town in Kansas". We are committed to creating quality fish products containing Asian Carp, along with other various river and ocean fish. Asian Carp now known as "copi" (pronounced "Koe-Pee") short for "copious" for tasty carp. Copi has incredible reproduction capabilities, able to grow up to a 100 pounds, and quite tasty. Initially, we will be bringing the "copi" from the Mississippi/Missouri Rivers and tributaries, aiding the Fish & Wildlife Agency/Department of Natural Resources, in their battle to rid the nation's waterways of this invasive species.
Gregg Hochderffer is the owner and president of St. Andrew's Fish Farm, LLC. He has 20 years of cumulative military time (Navy and Army National Guard), BA in History from California State University, Chico, and five years experience in manufacturing for Royal Canin. He is currently pursuing a Master Gardener certificate.

At St. Andrews Fish Farm, we are committed to using responsible farming practices that will minimize our environmental impact and to ensure the long-term sustainability of our aquaculture operations. We will use organic feed and will carefully monitor the water quality to ensure that our fish are healthy and happy. In Stage 1, the fertilizer processing will be in a 50'x50' half shelter. During this time period, we will be seeking to make the best fertilizer product via Research & Development.
In Stage 2, we will be using 160 acres to build 400 fish ponds producing up to 40 million pounds of fish annually. The fish-ponds will have A 50,000 sq ft fertilizer processing facility will be built to. We will be using a 'Trav-Lift' Crane for harvesting, something that is currently not being used at fish farms, thus using minimal labor, saving cost and keeping product prices low and competitive.
The St. Andrew's business model is to produce a multitude of quality fish products that will use our marketing label of "Holy Copi". In Stage 1, our first product will be the Holy Copi Organic Liquid Fish Fertilizer. It will be a premium hydrolysate (natural fermentation); quart containers to be sold for $10 and gallon containers for $35. Backyard gardeners and small organic farms are our customer base. The product will be sold online and at various retail outlets that sell garden accessories. * We will be adding citrus scent stickers to our bottles in due time.
The Stage 2 development (image in slide) phase of the company will produce the Holy Copi Fish Oil (for petfood) and various food products for human consumption (Holy Copi Fish Fillets and Holy Copi Fish Heads and Fish Eyes for sushi restaurants).
It is our goal to be using the expertise of university researchers to aid us in the development of our fish products. In fact, we plan on having major agriculture national universities to test our products and to be our credible source in product capabilities.
